Description
You will assist the IT Manager to maintain the information technology systems and infrastructure in our group of hotels. You will also support the IT operations at our head office with about 100 staff members.

This role requires hands on technical and trouble-shooting skill, teamwork, time management and the ability to roll out IT initiatives across multiple locations in Singapore.

You would also be expected to be on standby on weekends on a rotation basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • IT Infrastructure Management:
  • Assist in maintaining the IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, systems, and software in our group of hotels and head office.
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software.
  • Keep track of the age of the PCs in the hotels that need replacement.
  • Keep our hardware and software inventory list updated.
  • Technical Support:
  • Provide technical support to hotel staff and head office employees.
  • Upgrade Windows Operating System, RAM and hard disk space.
  • Migrate out of date PCs to new hardware.
  • Develop simple trouble shooting checklists for our hotel staff to follow before contacting IT department or the vendors.
  • Vendor Management:
  • Assist in the sourcing and evaluation of vendors and service providers.
  • Coordinate with multiple vendors to ensure that various systems (e.g. PMS and Keycard) with dependencies are implemented at the same time or in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that vendors provide documentation and training guide after each installation.
  • Security and Compliance:
  • Assist in the implementation of IT security policies, procedures, and protocols to protect the hotel's data and systems.
  • Keep OS and software in our hotels and head office current.
  • Ensure all PCs and laptops in our hotels have uptodate antivirus software installed.

Qualifications and Skills:


  • ITE / Diploma Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Hands on experience with upgrading Windows OS.
  • Proficiency in managing Microsoft Windows, and Office Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Basic familiarity with Acronis backup & recovery software.
  • Working knowledge of MS SQL Server and C# is a plus.
  • Experience with property management systems (PMS) is a plus.
