- Develop and implement automated test scripts using testing tools and frameworks.
- Design, develop, and execute automated test suites to validate software functionality.
- Identify, analyze, and report software defects to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with developers and other team members to understand software requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Perform regression testing to validate software changes and enhancements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Maintain and enhance existing automated test suites to keep pace with software updates and changes.
- Provide input on testing strategies, methodologies, and best practices to improve overall test efficiency and effectiveness.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Automation Tester or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks especially in Selenium.
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, ASTQB).
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Knowledge of web services testing (RESTful APIs, SOAP).
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
