Responsibilities:


  • Check the daily order status and understand the overall trends of customers and the market.
  • Set and manage sales representatives' goals per company policies set by the MD.
  • Responsible for guiding and educating sales representatives and overseeing their daily tasks to foster their growth and success.
  • Effectively manage time attendance for sales representatives.
  • Provide efficient support to sales representatives in ensuring seamless communication with all departments, including the Japan Head office, factories and its management team.
  • Support sales representatives to communicate smoothly with manufacturing, factory, and management departments in Singapore, Malaysia, China, and Taiwan.
  • Support sales representatives to communicate smoothly with other sales departments.
  • Regularly visit key customers with sales representatives to encourage building good relationships between sales and customers. To Identify issues and implement improvement measures with sales representatives.
  • Support sales representatives and trade management to solve problems in case of import/export problems.
  • Perform customer credit management. Directly visit high-risk customers to check their situation and avoid bad debts.
  • Work with sales representatives to plan and implement sales strategies and tactics to increase market share with existing customers. If needed, you can do it independently.
  • Promote sales expansion activities to acquire new customers and orders from existing customers.
  • Guide sales representatives to prepare presentation material for both internal and external use.
  • Support the preparation of presentation material for internal and external meetings; in addition, possess proficiency in handling Japanese documents with absolute precision and ensuring accurate and reliable reports every time.
  • Promote a positive and cohesive work environment for all employees in the Singapore branch.
  • Enhance the corporate culture of the Singapore branch per the policy that drives the overall improvement of the corporate culture across the TANAKA Group.
  • Report or escalate to the MD regarding the overall business as necessary.
  • Carry out other duties assigned to the MD.

Work Experiences:
a) Possess significant expertise in Sales, both domestically and internationally.

In addition, to have over three years of experience managing the sales team and taking up managerial responsibilities for the organisation.

b) Extensive experience in sales for the semiconductors and electronic components industries.


Other requirements:
Highly skilled in business processes and excel as a valuable team member.
