Job Description:

What you'll do

Explore new ideas to improve crop quality and yield through literature review and other resources
Support development in shelflife evaluation and auditing, food packaging analysis, sensory evaluation, waste valorisation
Conduct crop maturity assessment, crop quality assessment, and crop harvesting logistics
Design and conduct experiments to determine the effects of growing conditions on plant growth and expand crop recipes for our partner farms
Monitor, record, investigate and identify problems with plant growth in the lab as well as the farm
Perform farm operations (seeding, transplanting, harvesting), basic lab operations (sampling and analysis), and managing laboratory

What you'll need

Minimum Diploma or ITE in Plant Science, Agriculture, Agronomy, Environmental Science, or related fields
Experience in leading daily operation and research management of a technologyfarm in a controlled environment with experience in remote sensing preferred.
Good communication and writing skills
Good coordination / project management skills
Able to plan and execute experiments with mínimal supervision
Able to take initiative to improve processes and troubleshoot problems
Able to organize well and adhere to deadlines
Preferably have experience or interest in farming or gardening environment
Able to work independently with minimum supervision
Fulltime interns 6 months required
