Position -Functional Business Analyst

EXPERIENCE:

Essential:•3–5 years of experience in business analysis, project support, PMO, or related roles.
Basic understanding of business analysis concepts, SDLC, and/or Agile delivery methodologies.
Exposure to finance, banking systems, data, or emerging technology projects is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to document requirements and track activities accurately.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis, reporting, and presentations.
Familiarity with project tracking and documentation tools (e.g. Project, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint) is a plus.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to learn and collaborate across teams.
Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in fast paced and evolving environments.

Technical Skill-:

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis, reporting, and presentations.
Familiarity with project tracking and documentation tools (e.g. Project, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint) is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Business Analysis & Requirements Management

Supported Business Unit specialists and senior analysts in gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements.
Assisted in analysing current ("as-is") and future state ("to-be") business and operational processes.
Documented functional and non-functional requirements using approved templates and standards
Maintained requirement artefacts and ensured traceability across the project lifecycle.
Assisted in assessing the impact of change requests on scope, timelines, and overall delivery.
Functional Design & Solution Alignment
Facilitated the transition of requirements to System Analysts and technology teams, ensuring clarity and completeness of documentation.
Participated in requirement walkthroughs, design discussions, and clarification sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
Tracked requirement updates, assumptions, and dependencies, proactively highlighting potential risks and issues.
Testing & Validation
Supported review of test plans and functional test scopes prepared by testing teams.
Assisted in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test preparation, defect logging, tracking, and follow-ups.
Validated test results against documented requirements and supported issue resolution.
PMO & Project Support
Provided PMO support across innovation projects, maintaining project plans, RAID logs, status trackers, and documentation.
Supported governance activities including meeting coordination, preparation of materials, action tracking, and minutes documentation.
Monitored project progress, milestones, risks, and dependencies.
Assisted in preparing project status reports and updates for stakeholders and management.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Finance or Engineering or Data Science
