    function manages the financial and administrative needs of the Group to help achieve its business goals.
    Group FinanceWe support enhanced decision-making to achieve optimal and sustainable financial outcomes for our shareholders.

    We are responsible for providing insights into the performance of the Group through financial, regulatory and performance reporting of the Group.

    Job Responsibilities


    You will be part of Group Consolidation and Reporting team, focusing on the preparation of Group financial results, financial statements and annual reports.

    The team also ensures compliance in reporting and disclosures as required by the respective statutory bodies.


    Your key responsibilities will include:
    Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to ManagementResponsible for preparation and closing of monthly associate reporting and relevant annual report notesExecute controls over the financial close process for associates and Group consolidation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timelinessCoordinate and liaise with internal parties to support intercompany activitiesCoordinate and assist with queries from stakeholders including other departments, management, regulators, external auditors etcProvide guidance and support over closing issues, accounting policies and processes (example. accounting treatment, GL, new disclosures, etc.)Support and ensure compliance in reporting and disclosures as required by the respective statutory bodies, audits, as well as internal proceduresAssist in new processes and system implementation when requiredJob Requirements

    Degree in Accounting / Finance, ACCA or equivalent professional certificationProactive and able to work independently as well as in a teamAble to organize and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced and deadline –oriented environmentGood communication and interpersonal skills to engage internal and external stakeholdersStrong numeracy and analytical mindGood working knowledge of IFRSWell-versed in MS Office, especially MS Excel, PowerPoint and WordGood understanding of systems / tools such as SAP, Hyperion, OBIEE and Power BIBe a part of UOB Family
