Driver for Construction
Job Summary:
As a Driver for Construction, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting construction materials, tools, and crew members to and from construction sites.
Your primary focus will be on ensuring the timely delivery of supplies and equipment, contributing to the success of our construction projects.
In addition to driving responsibilities, you may also be required to assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive company vehicles, such as trucks and vans, in a safe and responsible manner.
- Transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to designated job sites.
- Follow assigned routes or adapt to changes in traffic and construction schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
- Comply with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while on the road.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks, reporting any issues to the Fleet Manager.
- Assist with loading and unloading construction materials as required.
- Communicate effectively with the construction team and project managers to ensure smooth logistics.
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery details.
- Adhere to the company's safety guidelines and participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
