Student Care Teacher - Singapore - Abundant Grace Presbyterian Church

You will be responsible for implementing and supervising all aspects of daily teaching and development activities for children enrolled in the Student Care Programme.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson content and teaching environment.
• Supervise daily activities at the Student Care center.
• Provide guidance and homework supervision to a class of primary school children in their homework and spelling.
• Implement creative ideas, activities, and stimulating lessons and encourage students' participation in classroom activities.
• Ensure classroom discipline and safety of children under your care.
• Address and counsel student behavior as needed.
• Maintain an atmosphere of safety, learning, and fun.
• Work with the church ministries on enrichment activities & programs.

Requirements:

• Minimum O Level with English Grade C6 or better
• At least 1 year relevant experience working in a similar capacity within a student care setting
• WSQ Student-Care Certified or equivalent
• Student care / tutoring experience is an advantage
• Patient and passionate about teaching children
• Friendly and cheerful with good interpersonal skills and organization skills
• Higher education level and working experience will be an advantage
