    Description

    [What the role is]

    As an Executive in the FMED-Business Infrastructure Branch, you will be part of the facilities management team that supports the facilities management of premises occupied by NEA's Metrological Services Singapore (MSS).

    [What you will be working on]

    You are responsible for managing the day-to-day Facilities Management (FM) operations including the following:

  • Coordinate the management and maintenance of multiple sites
  • Liaise with stakeholders such as internal staff, landlord and other government agencies for matters related to the maintenance, safety and environment of centralised sites
  • Supervise the cleaning, maintenance and rectification works carry out by contractors
  • Seek quotations where required and review contractor's proposal/quotation
  • Supervise facility related improvement projects e.g. renovations
  • Draft requirement specifications for procurement
  • [What we are looking for]

  • Between 3-5 years of relevant experiences handling estate management, building services and building maintenance matters
  • Familiar with Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems, local Codes of Practices, Statutory Authorities requirements and FM operational practices
  • Registered Fire Safety Officer
  • Registered as a WHS Officer or have experience in Work Place Health and Safety Practices
  • Able to supervise renovation works
  • Familiar with the use of Microsoft Office applications
  • Able to work both independently and in a team
  • Meticulous and analytical
  • Comfortable with fast-paced work
  • Good communication and written skills
  • Able and willing to work after office hours, including weekends and Public Holidays
  • Must have own transport and willing to move between sites
  • Some government procurement experience would be an advantage
