Description
Responsibilities
- Generate reports using Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Gather report requirements from internal stakeholders with regards to:
Parsing of correct log events for monitoring purpose
Manage offense rules creation and modification
- Script the data generating stored procedure in MSSQL
- Create and modify tables and databases based on report requirements
- Design report templates in SSRS
- Manual data recovery when necessary
- Maintain database tables, stored procedures, and jobs in MS SQL
- Troubleshoot any data importing interruption
- Learn new reporting tools that will be implemented
- Additional secondary database administration items, like standard database client installation and backups, and assessment on DB security vulnerabilities
Requirements:
- At least 3 years' experience in report generation process through SQL scripting
- At least 3 years' experience in database scripting preferably Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle
- At least 3 years' experience in database administration
- Preferred experience in Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Microsoft SQL Server 2014/2016/2017/20
- Preferred experience in Visual Studio
- Preferred experience in Microsoft Server 2012/201
- Preferred experience in cURL, Unix commands and JSON data format
- Preferred experience in PostgreSQL
