Responsibility:
- Implementing software tools to help in automating existing office procedures
- Carry software products through the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Write clean, concise, and efficient code
- Manage code documentation and version control
- Work in an agile, predictive or hybrid environment to release software on a regular schedule
- Troubleshoot and debug software
- Work with business analysts to define software requirements
- Participate in oncall rotation to respond to production issues
Job qualification and skill sets:
- Diploma in computer science, software engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. Java, C#, C++)
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python, Ruby, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java
- Working knowledge of OOP, data structures, algorithms, and computer science fundamentals
- Backend development expertise
- Version control with Git
- Strong problemsolving and communication skills
