Description

Role Purpose
Support Investment Analysis team in providing analytical finance & deal support for IHG growth


Key Accountabilities

  • Assist with the assessment of Managed and Franchise projects across SEAK & JAPAC business units by conducting market research, financial analyses, and proforma financial projections of new development and renewal projects
  • Assist to prepare presentation of proposals and pitches for internal and external stakeholders as required
  • Responsible to track internal approval papers;
  • Support various Global Finance and EMEAA Finance related projects;
  • Carry out other related and ad hoc assignments as required.

Education:
Undergraduate in Hospitality Management, Business, Finance or Economics, preferably in their third year of undergrad studies


Experience:
None required


Technical Skills and Knowledge:


  • Interest in the hospitality industry
  • An analytical mind with a keen sense of mathematical patterns and correlations
  • Detail and numerate oriented
  • Proactive and works with a sense of purpose and urgency
  • Desire to learn and be challenged to learn new skills
  • Excel savvy to proficiency in Office 36
  • Confidence generating new ideas or ways to approach work assigned
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills Team Player
  • Able to start in September 202
  • Able to commit for 6 months, 5 days work week (Mondays to Fridays)
