    Roles & Responsibilities

    Organisation Unit Purpose

    Provide quality end to end Service Delivery of Trade transactions in accordance to ENBD Group directives. Ensure compliance to Group policies and procedures, local regulatory requirements and guidelines, review of processes to ensure effective controls and efficiency is in place.

    The unit works closely with ENBD Head office Information Technology (IT), Group Operations (GOPs) and business process outsourced service provider (Tanfeeth) to leverage on technology to support our banking services and operations.

    Job Purpose

    The contract resource is responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities such as managing all trade transactions, including but not limited to receipt of trade documents presented by clients/banks via counter, collating and scanning to Tanfeeth for processing.

    The job holder is also required to ensure compliance with Internal and External policies and procedures as stipulated in local and applicable international regulatory requirements. He / She will also be required to assist the team in testing and pre-go-live supports for any new/change in the system, as well as to participate in any regulatory projects/initiatives by MAS and/or ABS

    Job Content

    Business Strategy & Performance

    • Support the end to end delivery of Trade processing to customers under the hub/spoke model
    • Monitor/Control all transactions received by the branch and ensure smooth delivery and achieve Branch's performance and contribute to achieving business goals
    • Work with relevant stakeholders on delivery of business performance for the branch
    • Ensure adherence to service level and quality standards.

    Operations & Control

    • Ensure Trade Operations procedures are being followed and deviation escalated
    • Ensure all policies related to Trade Ops are followed and any deviation is escalated
    • Monitor and managed daily end to end delivery of services meets SLA and customers experience are not compromised
    • Regular process review to eliminate unproductive processes
    • Track and ensure system & process issues are resolved and control gaps are addressed

    IT Related Project

    • Perform UAT testing for new system/System enhancement
    • Liaise with HO IT project team /vendor on testing result
    • Ensure system data accuracy after migration

    Operational Risk

    • Manage and escalate errors in processing, system errors. Work with relevant parties to resolve issues.
    • Regular process review to eliminate erroneous steps or processes.
    • Review errors resulting in operational losses and revise processes to address any risks or control issues
    • Support and ensure Business Continuity is robust and carried out as per Business Impact Analysis (BIA)

    Requirements

    Skills

    • Min 2-3 yrs experience in Trade Finance Operations. Good knowledge of trade finance products, including LC, BG/SBLC, DP/DA and Open Account financing.
    • Experience in conducting UAT testing, particularly in the area of UAT test design, test scenario and test case creation
    • Ability to check test results and report any adverse findings independently. Follow up for resolutions until the outcome is satisfactory.
