Roles & ResponsibilitiesThe main responsibility of Cook is to cook wok-related dishes ordered by the customers. As the main person cooking the dishes, Cook must be able to multi-task (e.g. handling 2 woks at a time), pay attention to details, prepare the food and check the quality and presentation of the dishes before they are passed to customers. Most importantly, Cook must also comply with the food safety standards to ensure that the food served to customers is safe for consumption.
The basic requirements of a Cook are as follows:
Knowledge and Skills
Knows the correct cooking procedures of all the menu items including fried items
Familiar with all the ingredients required for each menu item
Able to cook a particular dish in bulk (to save time) and separate them into correct portions
Knows how to read customer's order in the order slip (from kitchen printer)
Knows food hygiene and safety standards

Good attitude and hardworking

Able to stand and endure heat for long hours
