• Position: Financial Controller
• Industry: Polymer Manufacturing and Component Solutions
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Location: Within Tuas West Road MRT

Compensation & Benefits:

• Monthly Salary Range: Up to $6,500
• Annual Wage Supplement (AWS)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manages general accounting functions including general ledger, payables, receivables, fixed assets, banking, tax, credit, and collections, along with internal & external auditing, and budgetary controls.
2. Conducts accounts closing, reconciliation, and reporting processes, ensuring compliance with all closing timelines and reporting standards.
3. Prepares accurate operating and financial reports for leadership and corporate reporting, providing various perspectives and comparisons such as actuals, budgets, forecasts, or other relevant information.
4. Analyzes operating results, costs, budgets, policies, trends, and profit opportunities, making recommendations to senior leadership based on past and present operations data.
5. Manages internal and external audit processes, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards and internal controls.
6. Maintains strong internal control measures to safeguard company assets.
7. Optimizes working capital by managing credit risk, customer and supplier payment terms, collections, credit limits reviews, and inventory controls, while also making recommendations on credit limits settings and payment terms.
8. Oversees treasury controls, compliance, cash flow sufficiency, and forex hedges.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (CPA or equivalent preferred).
• Experience in external auditing and a strong understanding of internal controls.
• Proficient with Excel, Office, and ERP systems.

Additional Information:

• Involvement in corporate secretarial matters, statistical reports, general insurance, capital expenditure requests, and lease renewals as needed.
