The purpose of this roles is to support the Client Director in delivery on the account, managing the capabilities and team to ensure on-time delivery and excellence in execution.

- Responsible for mentoring and training of all Account Executives in client management, campaign management and professional ways of working aligned to direction of Account Director
- Produce clear and specific staff development plans including milestones necessary for career progression
- Ensure regular session with direct reports to share feedback in line with staff development plans, agency updates and create space to share any issues or concerns
- Connect with peers / wider agency account groups for knowledge sharing
- Actively share new opportunities within the business
- Act as a mentor for junior members of staff
- Understand which tools are available and how to use them to develop a strategic media platform / produce
- Adopt and translate MB2B strategic planning framework as needed by client (touchpoint journey, strategic insight, planning framework)
- Actively participate in and host (where appropriate) agency training session as well as proactively seeking training based on identified gaps in the agency / areas needed to upskill
- Responsible for producing and maintaining MB2B standard of client documents under guidance of Account Director (reporting, recommendations, planning, media plans)
- Responsible for selection of vendors aligned to campaign goals
- To share key updates regarding core accounts with priority media vendors
- Set SLA or ways of working with vendors in line with client requirements to ensure seamless activation
- Participate in agency training sessions and proactively identify relevant vendors aligned to account goals
- Attend vendor meetings or events to build profile of MB2B
- Foster strong working relationship with our clients through
- Responsive communication
- Strict adherence to SLAs
- Provide clear point of view on all opportunities, asks and recommendations
- Accurate, succinct and clear documentation (reporting, recommendations etc)
- Seek to understand category and business of key accounts that is used to advise media planning and implementation
- Ensure strong understanding and clarity of client asks and business needs (i.e. understanding the business reason for running a campaign)
- Ensure all finance deadlines are met and finance is loaded accurately
- Responsible for campaign pacing and correct implementation / QA process followed to mitigate any financial implications impacting revenue
- Ensure team is delivering in line with scope
- Understand each account's scope of work and identify opportunities that are out of scope
- Look at connecting within wider MB2B / Dentsu business based on client's ask
- Understanding specific client ask and determining whether there is capability within broader media / MB2B / Dentsu business via advisement with Account Director / Client Services Director
- Actively participate in MB2B culture defined by: day to day interactions with colleagues; participation with social events; involvement in additional work projects such as new business pitches / brainstorming as appropriate
- Champion MB2B within Dentsu network by demonstrating a passion and willingness to share details on our capabilities / client portfolio
