    Description

    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Daily Updates: Provide regular project/operation progress reports to immediate superior.
    • Punctuality & Attendance: Maintain good daily attendance and punctuality.
    • Leave Planning: Notify team members at least 2 working days in advance before taking leave to minimize downtime.
    • Supervision: Oversee Electricians and Instrument Technicians, responsible for training, testing, and maintenance of electrical safety programs.
    • Knowledge: Must be familiar with electrical industry standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE, ANSI, ISA) and instrumentation used in the chemical processing/Oil & Gas industry.
    • Experience: Manage electrical and instrumentation engineering projects, including estimating VO/Change Order works.
    • Resource Allocation: Manage and allocate resources for E&I work orders.
    • Problem Solving: Lead teams in finding and implementing solutions to E&I challenges on site.
    • Project Management: Supervise non-capital E&I projects and plant shutdowns/TAR works.
    • Communication: Collaborate with engineers, validate changes, and ensure project compliance.
    • Training: Nominate and train Techs for efficient work execution.
    • Quality Assurance: Ensure accuracy of records, compliance, and resolve technical difficulties.
    • Procurement: Create schedules, liaise with procurement, and ensure resource availability.
    • Compliance: Adhere to company procedures, legal requirements, and environmental standards.
    • Productivity: Promote safety, quality, productivity, and value engineering.
    • Client Coordination: Communicate with clients and contractors for project activities.
    • Scope Management: Manage project scope changes with commercial impact assessment.
    • Progress Monitoring: Supervise, report progress, and plan ahead with the supervisor.
    • Site Operations: Ensure accurate work setting, timely handover, and defect-free delivery.
    • Record Keeping: Produce accurate records, drawing registers, and reports.
    • Skills: Security Clearance, Navy experience, Embedded Software, Microwave knowledge, Site Planning, Value Engineering, Drawing proficiency, Electrical expertise, AIX familiarity, Estimation skills, Environmental Compliance adherence, Instrumentation knowledge, Hazard Analysis, Signal Processing.
