Korea Event Interpreter Wanted 11-13 June @ MBSDate: 11 June June 2024Time: 8 HoursLocation: Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre Level 1, SingaporeJob Scope:

• Candidates are required to be able to converse and translate fluently in Native Korea and English.
• Acting as Interpreter between a wide range of people with diverse voices, accents, speaking tempos and personalities.
• To provide interpretation services, which involve orally translating spoken language during events.
• Communicate effectively with team customer and external partners, bridging language and cultural barriers.
• Communicate effectively with local and overseas customers.
• Complying with applicable ethics and standards.
• Interpreters to convert information from one spoken language into another.

Requirements:

• Attention to detail and understanding of keyword terms and interpretation.
• Proficient understanding of cultural sensitivity, and ability to collaborate with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Good interpersonal and decision-making skills.
• Previous experience in editorial or translation roles is preferred but not required.
• Initiative and proactive.
