Description

Job descriptions:

• Inspects welded joints and conducts tests to ensure welds meet company standards, national code requirements, and customer job specifications.
• Records inspection and test results and prepares and submits reports to welding engineering personnel.
• Communicate with retained weld engineer on welding issues, and processes when necessary.
• Communicate with customer's weld engineering department.
• Tracking and maintaining welding procedures and CWB binders.
• Manage welding procedures and ensure welders are qualified and approved for corresponding welding procedures for various jobs

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a heavy fabrication environment.
• Practical and theoretical proficiency with Carbon Arc-gauging; SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW processes. Experienced in developing process routings for large welded fabrications.
• Familiar with PQR development and testing final WPS implementation.
