    Roles & Responsibilities

    Sonare Music School is looking for a qualified and dedicated violin teacher to join our warm family of music teachers.

    Job description:

    Weekly practical AND theory lessons with students

    Exam preparation and registration

    Communication and progress tracking with students and parents

    Organisation of weekly timetable

    Other administrative duties based on additional skills

    Requirement:

    Teaching is a long-term commitment. Teachers are also required to work on BOTH Saturday and Sundays due to peak periods and the nature of teaching

    MINIMUM Gr. 8 in Practical (from a reputable exam board)

    MINIMUM Gr. 8 in Music Theory (from a reputable exam board)

    Pass in O levels (or equivalent qualification)

    Long-term commitment is preferable

    Good personal organisational skills

    Good interpersonal communication skills

    Teaching experience is preferred

    Empathetic to different learning styles and of parents' concerns

    Any additional skills or background are favourable.
