    Job Responsibilities – (Direct and Indirect taxes)

    • Assist the Managers in providing effective tax compliance and lates update on the tax changes.
    • Support project management including personal income tax planning, tax provision, tax filing, tax exemption application, tax refund application & tax clearance for staff to overseas project assignment within Asia region, mainly Malaysia & Singapore.
    • Provide tax planning strategic and ensuring compliance with the local country tax regulations.
    • Provide yearly end accrual exercise.
    • Support on any tax related queries clarification raised by the tax authorities or during tax audit.
    • Support project team for tax clarification with client & assist client tax cost for re-allocation btw difference projects in view of manpower sharing btw projects.
    • Responsible for the preparation and assistance for corporate tax Return with tax agent & Compute & File GST Return.
    • Assist Manager on ad-hoc tax matters.

    Job Responsibilities – (Accounting)

    • Abilities to handle full set of accounts, & to support timely and accurate month-end, quarterly closing, and year-end financial auditing.
    • Ensure compliance of financial records and controls with corporate, statutory, and regulatory requirements under the FRS.
    • Monitor and ensure proper internal controls are in place.
    • Cash flow management planning and credit control for the company.
    • Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax agents and company appointed legal advisory agency.
    • Filing all statutory Return on timely manner under the regulations.
    • Any other Ad-hoc duties

    Requirement

    • Degree holder in Finance & Accounting or equivalent, at least 5 years of relevant experience in similar capacity.
    • understanding of current tax regulations, IFRS & corporate governance requirements in Malaysia and Singapore.
    • Language proficient: Strong English proficient in written & spoken communication. Preferably able to communicate & read Malay.
    • Strong organization skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
    • Strong work ethic – systematic and meticulous
    • Strong initiative and ability to work with minimum supervision.
    • Analytical skill for solving difficult problems.
