    Roles & Responsibilities

    Job Roles

    1. To provide occupational therapy services to dialysis patients.

    Main Responsibilities

    1. Assess and identify individual needs of clients and formulate/develop and implement appropriate individualised occupational therapy programs. These would include Activities for Daily living, Upper limb function and control, sensory and perceptual skills, cognition, behaviour and social skills training, pre-vocational assessment etc.
    2. Work with clients on a one-to-one basis, group or special setting based on their levels of function and severity of disability.
    3. Liaise with various disciplines involved in the rehabilitative treatment process.
    4. Evaluate and document clients' occupational therapy needs and progress at regular intervals, monitor training programs and review their effectiveness.
    5. Evaluate, prescribe and fabricate/purchase assistive devices as required by the clients to improve function.
    6. Train and supervise caregivers/volunteers in the maintenance of therapy programs.
    7. Involve in research where possible, relevant to areas of occupational therapy service delivery.
    8. Work with seniors to establish occupational therapy services and programs .
    9. Assist senior with internal teaching.
    10. Involvement in teachings and taking students on attachments in agreement with supervisor.
    11. Manage own schedule and daily work routine.
    12. Undertake responsibility and duties assigned by the HOD/management/director from time to time.

    Qualification

    • You should have a Degree in Occupational Therapy recognised by the Ministry Of Manpower and Singapore Occupational Therapist Association.
    • Membership to Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) with full or restricted practicing licence

    Experience

    • Minimum 3 years

    Soft Skills

    • A team player and exhibits good communication skills.
    • Must have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.
    • Able to converse with all patients' group and family.

    Note

    • Candidates need to be comfortable with travelling
    • Contract period: May 2024 to Oct 2024
