Your role:

We're looking for someone like you who can work within our APAC Sustainable Finance Office specifically to:

Assist clients in the development and implementation of overall sustainability and impact strategy and transition finance initiatives

• Work with corporate clients on devising sustainability and impact engagement strategies and benchmarking with equity and debt investors including transition pathways, abatement frameworks
• Contribute to sustainability and impact business development by identifying and highlighting potential opportunities for various investment banking, wealth management and asset management product teams to pursue as well as drive firmwide to sustainability and impact strategies
• Assist to build and maintain strong external networks with parties including regulatory bodies, investors and other relevant agencies
• Develop one-bank / cross-divisional pitches around sustainability and impact for key clients – including pitch book development and supporting the coverage framework
• Support upskilling and ongoing engagement of staff on key aspects of sustainable finance
• Support project work to drive strategic priorities, including workshops, events and awards where required

Your team:

You will be part of the APAC Sustainable Finance Office team, which is part of the Group's Chief Sustainability Office. The APAC Sustainable Finance Office is responsible for driving the cross-divisional Sustainable Finance roadmap and strategy for APAC, in partnership and alignment with the Group-wide sustainability initiatives. Our objective is to partner with business divisions across APAC to create and promote innovative sustainability and impact solutions to meet the needs of our clients and help our employees grow

Your expertise:

• 5 to 8 years of to sustainability and impact and / or sustainable finance experience within corporates, financial institutions or consulting firms
• Strong understanding of key sustainability issues, trends and regulatory environment and the impact for corporates and financial institutions
• Credentials /training in sustainability and to sustainability and impact areas including developing climate strategies, conducting climate scenario and abatement cost analysis a plus
• Experience in TCFD, TNFD, ESG disclosure and reporting would be a plus
• Team player with desire to work with different business functions / roles and external partners
• Exposure to carbon markets, green technology, climate risks and transition, green finance and impact measurement would be a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to interface with people at varied skill and seniority levels
• Strong analytic capabilities and ability to organize, coordinate and prioritize wide range of deliverables
• Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word skills and Project Management
• Credentials / training in sustainability & impact areas a plus
• Fluent in English; Mandarin is a plus
