    Description
    The IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the IT infrastructure for a digital bank. This role requires expertise in cloud computing, hardware/data centre management, vendor management and a strong understanding of the unique requirements of a digital banking environment.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Infrastructure Design and Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to design and plan the digital bank's IT infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
    • Cloud Computing: Manage the bank's cloud infrastructure, including the selection, deployment, and optimization of cloud services to support the bank's digital services.
    • Hardware and Data Centre Management: Oversee the procurement, installation, and maintenance of hardware components, including networking and security equipment.
    • Infrastructure Management: Manage the bank's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, and cloud services, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
    • Capacity Planning: Monitor and analyse infrastructure performance and capacity, identifying potential bottlenecks and planning for future growth and scalability.
    • Security and Compliance: Collaborate with the security team to implement and maintain robust security measures, including access controls, vulnerability management, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
    Job Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 8-12 years' experience in IT infrastructure management, coming from the banking industry. (VP equivalent level in banking)
    • Certification and hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure or GCP), DevSecOps and infrastructure-as-code.
    • Strong experience with cloud infrastructure and containers
    • Experience in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
    • Experience in vendor management and service quality assurance.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Strong IT architecture design, communication and leadership abilities.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
    • Our client requires bilingual English & conversational Chinese due to interaction with Chinese speaking stakeholders
