Description

The hiring company is a physical commodity trading firm.

The cargo operations team is responsible for supporting traders on all cargo operations.

This person should be organized, with good time management and communication skills. He/she reports directly to the experienced Operations Manager in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

Coordinating international shipments and ensuring shipments are executed smoothly and timely
Anticipating and resolving disruptions to logistics
Preparing shipping instructions and collecting, producing, and assembling shipping documents
Liaising with the banks for presentation and collection of relevant documents
Ensuring timely payment to suppliers for imports and exports and following up with customers for payment

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree relevant to Maritime or Supply Chain and Logistics
Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written English
13 years experience in commodities trading company focusing on container cargos/shipments
