Responsibilities:


1.


Technical Leadership:


  • Provide strategic direction and technical guidance to multiple engineering teams.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation within the organization.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to align engineering efforts with overall business goals.

Team Management and Development:


  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Define and implement effective engineering processes, workflows, and standards to ensure consistent and highquality output.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and support career development plans for team members.

Project Management:


  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex engineering projects within specified timelines and budget.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, resolving issues and roadblocks that may arise during project development.
  • Foster a culture of agility and adaptability, enabling teams to respond effectively to changing project requirements.

Collaboration and Communication:


  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with executive leadership, providing updates on project status, technical challenges, and resource needs.
  • Facilitate crossteam communication and knowledge sharing to ensure a unified approach to problemsolving.

Quality Assurance:


  • Drive a commitment to engineering excellence, ensuring the delivery of reliable, scalable, and maintainable software products.
  • Establish and maintain best practices for code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.

Continuous Improvement:


  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains, driving the evolution of the engineering organization.
  • Encourage a culture of innovation, encouraging engineers to propose and experiment with new ideas and technologies.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (Director/Manager).
  • Strong background in software development, architecture, and design, with expertise in one or more programming languages and technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage highperforming engineering teams, with a focus on mentorship and career development.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize, delegate, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to align engineering efforts with broader business objectives.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and a commitment to fostering an agile development culture.
  • Track record of successfully delivering software products through the entire development lifecycle.
