Our EEs collaborate with their product teams to develop delightful experiences, leveraging their passion for electronics and technology to engineer solutions that bring the industry's most innovative games and experiences to life.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and prototype PCBs that meet the unique requirements of our games
  • Create and manage PCB manufacturing documentation
  • Collaborate with a team of programmers, engineers and designers to fabricate prototypes, test rigs, mock ups and complete game cabinets
  • Design and develop firmware with a high standard of code quality, stability, maintainability and performance
  • Advise on the electronic requirements for new product ideas, new game features and improvements to our existing game catalogue
  • Specify detailed electrical requirements for a range of components to ensure the correct parts are sourced from prototyping through to mass production
  • Rapidly prototype and iterate on new game ideas to evaluate their fun, feasibility and market fit
  • Discuss and solve complex problems with manufacturing departments, subcontractors, suppliers, and customers
  • Create and manage electrical drawings, part lists, and BOMs
  • Work closely with the mechanical engineering team to ensure electrical requirements are understood and catered for in mechanical designs

Required Skills & Experience:


  • 5 years of professional PCB design
  • Strong experience with PCB EDA tools such as Altium, KiCad, Fusion 360, etc
  • Strong experience in PCB testing procedures and creation of instructions for external PCB manufacturers
  • Ability to work in a diverse team, where strong crossteam and crossdomain communication skills are essential
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • A passion for games is critical as you'll be collaborating with the games development team and contributing to ArcadeXR products

Qualifications/Education:


  • Bachelor or Diploma of Engineering (Electronics or Mechatronics) or equivalent work experience

Special Requirements (Nice to Have):


  • Experience with certifications and compliance standards such as UL, FCC, CE, etc.
  • Experience in complex harnessing design and production
  • Experience with AutoCAD Electrical or Autodesk Inventor
  • Experience with C#, GoLang or Javascript
  • Experience in C / C++ embedded systems programming

Salary:
$7, $9,000.00 per month
