Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely renewal of ship's certificates to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct comprehensive SIRE inspections of all vessels to ensure adherence to safety standards.
  • Address and close outstanding observations from audits to improve operational efficiency.
  • Communicate any operational issues related to cargo hoses, mooring ropes, etc. to the Marine Manager to ensure timely resolution.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by the management.

Job Requirements:

  • Hold relevant qualifications and seagoing experience as a certified ship officer in accordance with STCW 7
  • Possess a positive attitude and willingness to learn to keep uptodate with the latest industry trends and regulations.
  • Familiar with SIRE inspection and other industry standards.
  • Possess good communication, analytical, and team player skills to work effectively with other team members.
  • Able to travel without restrictions to attend to business needs.
  • Work location: Alexandra Road.
  • Work hours: 5 working days per week, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm.
