About the role
Independently manage the invoice booking and verification process for cargo, freight and ancillary invoices.

This would involve confirming cargo price and quantity with counterparties and booking in ancillary invoices into the system for approval and payment.


Key responsibilities

  • Ensure that invoices are received and/or issued on time by tracking due dates of both payables and receivables invoices
  • Process third party and intercompany commodity purchase and sales invoices (provisional/final) verify cargo quantity and price with counterparty, coordinate LOI and LC payment documents where necessary
  • Process ancillary invoices and rebill where necessary booking of payables or receivables invoices into the system, preparing the invoices for approval and processing approved invoices for payment or for issuance.
  • Process freight invoice and rebill where necessary
  • Maintain shipment and ancillary trackers Perform any other duties as per required by line manager

Skills & experience

  • Minimum 2 years in a similar role in a commodity trading environment.
  • Min Diploma or higher in Business/Accounting
  • Experience in using CTRM systems
  • Oil and gas experience preferred
  • Oil cargo pricing methodology
  • Meticulous and attention to details
  • Possess time management and organisational skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Understanding of commodity trading life cycle
  • Understanding on basic contract law

Qualifications:
