About our client


Our client is a Leading Global Alternative Investment Fund Manager with a strong track record which is looking to add a Portfolio Associate/ Senior Associate to their Singapore office.

This is a huge opportunity to join up with a lean team and gain significant exposure across investment management and portfolio construction and analytics.

You will work across a breadth of responsibilities but will also gain specific experience across fund portfolio performance monitoring, investment risk as well as analysing investment proposals, across a range of funds.

This is a great chance to join a hugely impressive firm and work within a lean team focusing on portfolio management, analytics, asset allocation and performance assessment.


What the job involves

  • Portfolio analysis, private markets asset allocation, and performance assessment
  • You are expected to take ownership of the creation and maintenance of quantitative models, analytical tools, and data driven analysis to support portfolio construction decisions
  • Develop private markets portfolio proposals & strategy recommendations
  • Train, mentor and oversee junior analysts in this team on topics relating to portfolio construction

Who we are looking for

  • Experience working in financial services, consulting or data analytics. Familiarity with private markets or other alternative assets preferred
  • You need to have an understanding of basic quantitative financial concepts, such as performance calculations, risk analysis, valuation techniques, portfolio optimization techniques, and / or statistical analysis
  • Can easily work in cross cultural teams, and lead junior analysts
  • Strong communication skills you should have experience interacting directly with clients, senior executives, and stakeholders on complex topics
