    Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a Material Management Specialist to oversee all aspects of outgoing deliveries. The incumbent will be the key personnel to take charge in resolving problems that arise from daily operations.     Reporting to the Head of Operation, key deliverables include:

    1. Booking and Control of:

    • Warehouse Transfer
    • Material Internal Booking

    2. Customer Service Management

    • Order Management (Order Processing)
    • Project Management (Coordination of Local Deliveries)
    • Support and Follow up Sourcing and Procurement of Project requiredd material including PR on shortages.
    • Central Point of Excellence for Customer Service, Procurement and Logistics Support for Planning.

    3. Import/Export

    • Sourcing and Exchange of Material with Holding & Affilated Companies
    • Contact to SCM/Subsidiaries/Shipping Agency
    • Crosscheck Physical Material/ Delivery Ticket/Order/ Invoice
    • Claim Management
    • Filing of Docuements

    4. Local Purchase

    • Link to Technical Office
    • Supplier Evaluation and Implementation of Processes together with IQM Department WHN
    • Coordination, Booking and Control of Purchasing Process of Local Sourced Material
    • Material Quality Management
    • Management of Material Master Data
    • Actively Coordinating with Sales, Finance and Engineering as Central Support.
    • Liaise with Warehouse about Incoming and Outgoing Material

    Your profile includes:

    • Min GCE O-level and above will be preferred but is not a barrier for the right candidate.
    • Preferably 2 years of logistics or order management experience in a similar business environment.
    • Suitable fresh graduate from Logistics or Engineering faculty are welcome to apply.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook.
    • Fluent in English both oral and written. Mandarin speaking will be an advantage.
    • Able to work with minimal supervision, both alone and in teams.
    • Possess strong numeric sense, structured thinking and organizational skill.
    • Good time management. Ability to manage time pressure and meet deadlines.
    • A good team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal and external parties.
