South East Asia & Australia is a key region for their continuous growth and strong focus.

They are seeking 3 talents - Senior Accountant (General Ledger), Senior Accountant (Accounts Payables) and Senior Accountant (Accounts Receivables) to join them in this exciting journey.


Senior Accountant (General Ledger)

The Role


Based in Singapore, the Senior Accountant-General Ledger (GL) is responsible for the full closing and statutory reporting in the accounting and reporting systems of Singapore and Malaysia.

In charge of yearly statutory audit process and support the regional Assistant Accounting Manager to deliver accurate reports in a timely manner and be responsible for GL accounting for Singapore & Malaysia.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with other departments to complete accurate records & provide accounting support
  • Reviewing financial documents for accuracy and highlight areas of concern
  • In charge of periodic closing of books and statutory reporting in accounting & reporting system
  • Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
  • Preparation of monthly audit schedules
  • Maintain Fixed Asset Register and provide support for new assets tracking
  • Liaise with auditors to coordinate yearly statutory audit, financial statements & statutory filings.
  • Manage auditors' requests and queries.
  • Preparation of audit schedules & confirmations
  • Coordinate all direct tax and indirect tax computations, submissions & its compliances

Key Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting / Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA). Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Min 5 years of accounting experience in retail, with exposure to retail management and store operations, an added advantage
  • 2 years of working experience in public accounting firm preferred
  • Good knowledge of SAP, Accounting Standards and Statutory Compliances. Proficient in Excel
  • Highly selfdriven, proactive, agile, inquisitive and result oriented with integrity
  • Attention to details with good analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure and/or tight reporting deadlines
  • Able to work independently but also collaboratively with cross functional teams.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Senior Accountant (Accounts Payables)

The Role


Based in Singapore, the Senior Accountant, Accounts Payable (AP) is a primary support for the Australia accounts payables function and oversees the Singapore & Malaysia accounts payables function.

Responsible to process each transaction and ensures that the business financial records are updated with accurate payment information. A key driver to improve workflow processes and to manage stakeholders' expectation. A key pillar to the procure to pay process for Australia, Singapore & Malaysia.

Reports to the Financial Accounting Manager SEA & Australia and will be a leader of the AP team.


Responsibilities:


  • Process and validate 3rd party vendor invoice according to applicable policy
  • Process, check, validate business claims with applicable T&E policy and approval matrix, including receipts handling process
  • Support on payment related enquiries
  • Support on withholding tax matters relating to payments if applicable
  • Process payment proposal and support on cash flow projections
  • Liaise with bank on payment matters and supporting documents when needed
  • In charge of the vendor statement/ intercompany and applicable balance sheet items reconciliation
  • Preparation of AP confirmations per auditors request
  • Maintain proper filling and record
  • Perform operating expenses review

Key Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree in accounting
  • Min 5 years working experience in accounting function in the finance department.
Added advantage if possess prior experience in retail / E-commerce.

  • Good knowledge of SAP, GST Regulations, Proficient in Excel
  • Highly selfdriven, proactive, agile, inquisitive and result oriented with integrity
