Focus & Scope

  • Design and evolve Pricing Frameworks per key relevant market according to key macro, market, consumer, brand and execution indicators.
  • Creates a structure to assess and map pricing movements in the portfolio and expected contribution to Revenue and Volume targets.
  • Designs processes for effective price deployment ensuring scenario planning, price execution guidelines, and rules of engagement.
  • Designs integrated control dashboards to effectively assess price impact in each market and assess contribution for growth.
  • Ensure key learnings from execution to impact on Strategic Pricing frameworks
  • Co-Lead and collaborates with Commercial Finance, marketing and operations to ensure the right data sources and reports.
  • Execute, learn and constant evolve our pricing principles, methodologies and metrics as market needs.
  • Build and deploy best in class Pricing Capability
  • Colead and collaborate with Global networks in development of new solutions, ensuring best practice sharing and adoption.
  • Informed of new technologies and sources to evolve the system pricing Capability

  • Key focus in ensuring the correct level of pricing to deliver a balanced system healthy growth
  • Gain a disciplined governance approach on pricing decisions
  • Integrates pricing projects under key frameworks and processes

Scope

  • This is an OU wide role, individual contributor, leading key pricing processes and capability
  • As an OU priority, this role has a strong footprint in integrating LRP and BP processes specifically in financials and consumer marketing.
  • The role also will be part and/or lead multifunctional initiatives, with strong collaboration with key areas/roles such as Human Insights, Strategy, Finance planning, Commercial Finance among others,.

KEY SUCCESS PARAMETERS

Experience

  • 8+ years of leadership experience in RGM/Commercial Strategy/Commercial execution, Commercial finance with balanced knowledge of consumer, commercial and financial elements.
  • Conducted Strategic portfolio initiatives and financial analytics
  • Have active participated in planning processes
  • Led key plans, initiatives and change management processes, influencing different key stakeholders from different organizational levels and structures.
  • Ensured execution closure by clear KPI tracking and ensure timely learnings and feedback into strategy
  • Led collaborative system wide initiatives specifically in commercial strategy and commercial finance

Work Focus

  • High interaction with key functions and networks to deliver integrated strategies and plans
  • High involvement in execution of plans to ensure strategic validation and course correction
  • High awareness of key factors that affect the strategic success of Price deployment
  • Curious and updated informed of new developments in the FMCG and other Industries to ensure innovation.
  • Maintain discipline in multifactor topics.
