Roles & Responsibilities

Description:

Ensure timely completion of projects while meeting quality standards and stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities:

Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports in accordance with company's policy.
Execute project plans, monitor progress, and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
Manage project risks and issues, ensuring they are identified, tracked, reported, and resolved in a timely manner.
Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors.
Influence positively in a team oriented, collaborative environment.
Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
Manage expectations of all interested parties.
Prepare project budgets and track project cost to ensure delivery is within the approved budget.
Ensure deliverables are on time within budget, and at the required level of quality.
Evaluate the outcomes of the projects as established during the planning phase.
Document project phases and ensure that all data related to the project is stored and accessible.
Provide regular and timely updates to stakeholders about project status.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree.
At least 5 years of direct work experience in a project management capacity.
Experience in a project management methodology - Prince2, PMP is preferred.
Excellent communication, writing, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Strong organizational and planning skills to coordinate the actions of multiple parties.
Multitasking ability necessary to move from one task to another at a fast pace.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and engage staff.
Basic accounting skills to track spending and stick to a budget.
Knowledge of risk management to identify potential legal liabilities and take steps to mitigate them.
Good networking skills to build relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Attention to details with good organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
