Description
Job scope:
- Prepare Technical Specification, Evaluation of proposal from vendors for Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Rotating equipment such as pumps, compressor, blowers and package equipment
- Prepare Hydraulic calculation and Safety Valve Sizing calculation
- Prepare, check and approve specification and vendor documents for piping specialties such as Strainers, Steam Traps, valves, etc
- Familiar with Major international codes such as ASME, TEMA, API
- Conversant with software such as PV Elite/CodeCal/Tank Etc
- To assist in the assessment of construction costs, maintenance cost, or safety studies
- Function as Mechanical Design from concept till operation support
- Interfacing with vendors, various departments and clients
- Encourage and introduce measures to improve productivity and minimize errors in design
Requirement:
- Recognized degree in Chemical or Mechanical engineering with minimum 3 years of experience in same position in chemical engineering industry
- Matured, responsible and ability to work independently
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, selfmotivated and a team player
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office suites) and presentation skill
