What the role is

The Built Environment (BE) sector has been integral to Singapore's transformation into a vibrant, liveable city. The sector will continue to play a crucial role in building a smart, resilient, and sustainable city.

You will have opportunities to collaborate with multiple agencies on various policies to transform the BE sector.

Areas of focus could include (i) encouraging digitalisation and widespread adoption of productive technologies across the sector; (ii) growing progressive and collaborative firms that are well-poised to capture business opportunities; and (iii) reviewing rules and regulatory processes to reduce industry burden and improve productivity.

What you will be working on

To achieve these outcomes, you will drive and coordinate policies (factoring in strategic communications and implementation considerations), stakeholder engagement, the enactment of legislation, as well as assess the relevant resourcing requirements from BCA and other agencies. You will also staff and coordinate meetings deliberating these issues involving MND senior management and other stakeholders.
