The Regional Payroll Specialist (6 months contract) will be responsible for:

Be the preparer to process Singapore payroll and work closely with the respective local payroll team to manage payroll processing for the region.
Monitor payroll calendar to ensure complete summary of movements are submitted to for timely processing
Prepare and review/validate payroll reports to address discrepancies to process amendments, ensure adequate funding, disbursement of salaries, filing and payment of monthly payroll statutory withholdings are within due dates and compliance
Assist in the extraction of payroll reports, summaries, and analyses
Prepare accounting journal entries and work with various finance teams to prepare and upload journal entries and accounting reconciliations
Handle queries relating to payroll related financial balances to complete monthly accounting close
Work with the local team to perform payroll and its related expenses analysis for the region
Coordinate yearend or adhoc tax activities to ensure filings are done with statutory deadlines
Be the main driver to drive the payroll process transformation for the region

REQUIREMENTS

Possesses a Degree or Diploma in Accountancy/Finance
Has at least 6 years of work experience and 23 years of experience handling Payroll
Good experience in payroll related journal entry and process transformation
Handson and independent to carry out the job scope
Has competent usage of Microsoft Excel
