Intern Network Development (M/F/D) - Singapore
This internship is offered in the CEO Office business unit which consists of two sub units: Administration and Strategy.
The administration subunit is responsible for all administrative matters, which include the preparation of the regular Chief Executive Board and Alliance Management Board meetings.
The Strategy subunit provides industry intelligence from internal and external sources. It runs market research activities and creates reports based on research with the member airlines' customers.This internship position will support the Strategy team in the CEO Office business unit.

Job Summary
- Organise and analyse large amounts of quantitative and qualitative industry statistics and data to support Star Alliance strategic activities
- Produce fast, qualified and unbiased analysis and reports to enable informed alliance and partnership decisions
- Prepare briefing notes and presentations for meetings, which may include meeting with Star Alliance Member Airline representatives.
- Propose improvements to enhance existing processes, databases and tools, such as market intelligence tools
- Support the team with daily activities and complete ad hoc administrative tasks, such as requests for information retrieval, compilation, verification and presentation
- Deliver weekly and monthly reports to managers and directors as required
Your Profile
- Student in the field of air transport management, economics, data analytics or computer science
- Highly numerate with an analytical approach, working with datasets and the ability to reduce complex data to relevant information
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Good knowledge of MS office
- Experience of using PowerBI or other data analytics tools would be an advantage
- High level of proficiency in English is essential, as English is the sole language used for communication with Star Alliance Member Airlines and other external stakeholders
- Ability to contribute in an international environment with cultural awareness
- Selfinitiative with team spirit
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
Student status at a Singaporean university for the duration of the internship
