    Description

    Responsibilities

  • Strong marketing and proposal activity with trade finance promotion, deal execution focusing on Non Japanese corporate clients – APAC local companies, Subsidiaries of multinational corporation in APAC.
  • Marketing and business promotion of trade finance deal focusing on Receivable Finance – Account Receivable Finance・Supplier Finance, Documentary Trade, Offtake Finance in APAC region.
  • Deal origination, structuring, negotiation, obtaining mandate, documentation, or any other coordination internally and externally to execute the deal.
  • Promoting the trade finance business collaboration between Japanese and Non-Japanese coverage team, RMs through the target customer's account planning.
  • Providing trade finance solution and business promotion with cross regional collaboration and coordination including Head Office departments, other related departments in Japan and APAC region for the customer.
  • Leading marketing promotion regionally with latest valuable solution such as Digital, Sustainability and so on linked to trade finance.
  • Planning and promoting marketing strategy focusing on APAC countories, which will be in line with Global and Regional strategy of GTFD, for the customer to expand the trade finance business in APAC.
  • Researching and analyzing the customer, market, industry, regulation in APAC coverage.
  • Administration for processing and executing deals. Supporting other group or team members to support the customer, to achieve the maximum performance as one Team SMBC.
  • Job Requirements

  • Rich experience of trade finance marketing promotion, deal execution, origination, structuring, documentation.
  • Strong customer centric mindset and active marketing attitude.
  • Basic knowledge of trade finance, trade market, financials, digitalization, especially in APAC area.
  • Experience to set up the marketing strategy related to business promotion in APAC's countries and sector approach.
  • Strong leadership, capability and excellent skills to deliver new value to client through trade finance products and solution, together with RM, based on market situation and bank's strategy.
  • Willing to help colleagues focusing on team work.
  • Excellent PC skills such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Digital tools.
  • Excellent communication skills with internal and external senior stakeholders.
