With a focus on technique and community, we aim to empower our students both on and off the mats.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Coach to join our team on a Full-Time basis.

As a BJJ Coach, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality instruction to our students, helping them develop their skills, achieve their goals, and foster a sense of camaraderie within the academy.

Responsibilities:

Conducting Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes for adults and/or children, following the curriculum provided by the academy.
Providing personalized coaching and feedback to students to help them improve their technique, physical conditioning, and mental focus.
Demonstrating techniques effectively and ensuring students understand and can execute them safely.
Monitoring student progress and offering guidance on goal setting and skill development.
Creating a positive and inclusive training environment that promotes teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship.
Assisting in the promotion of events, seminars, and special programs offered by the academy.
Maintaining a clean and safe training area, including equipment upkeep and sanitation procedures.
Continuously expanding your own knowledge and skills through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

Minimum of 6 years of experience practising Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and a purple belt, with a strong understanding of fundamental and advanced techniques.
Previous experience coaching BJJ classes in a formal capacity.
Proficiency in teaching both adults and children, with the ability to adapt instruction to different learning styles and skill levels.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students of all backgrounds.
A dedication to upholding the values of respect, integrity, and discipline inherent in martial arts training.
Certification or rank in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu from a recognized governing body (e.g., IBJJF, Gracie Barra, etc.) preferred but not required.
Availability to work 2530 classes per week on a fulltime basis, including evenings and weekends as needed.
