This is a Japanese Start up company (Digital Asset Securities)

Responsibilities:

- to design, develop and implement the accounting pattern and ledgers which supports end-to-end process for DPT(mainly crypto)/DPT derivatives trading activities by working closely with Trading/Structuring, Operations and Compliance/Risk.
- to work closely with external exchanges/wallet systems/vendors to implement the respective accounting ledgers and treatments for market access/transmission system/vendor systems to provide ongoing support for the business.
- to work with vendors to implement accounting ledgers

Managing full set of account and auditing Reporting to MAS from time to time

Requirements:

5 years or above experience in Accounting and Finance Role in the financial service industry, financial system vendors or from tech firms who has worked closely with financial institutions.
Team player and collaborate with cross functional teams including Trading/ Structuring/ Operations/ Compliance/ Risk teams etc to drive innovations or operational efficiencies.
Maintaining a full set of accounts including the preparation of the financial statements
Assisting management in financial planning and budgeting, financial analysis, cash flow management and capital management
Liaising with internal stakeholders to complete external and internal audits, and statutory inspections.
Preparing financial related regulatory reporting whatever applicable.
Ability to work in fastpaced environment and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Good knowledge of crypto/crypto wallets/crypto exchanges (or interest/passion in crypto trading) is preferable.
Bachelor degree in accounting & finance or equivalent required
Chartered accountant qualified or equivalent preferred.
Good knowledge of banking business operations, products, and experience in developing or managing the systems in banking, securities firms, or insurance companies.
Basic knowledge of derivatives/options products is an advantage.
Experience in building the new platform for the firm, system integration or vendor system implementation and vendor management. experience and knowledge in traditional capital markets products (FX, Fixed Income, Equities and Commodities) will be a plus.
