    Description
    Roles & Responsibilities

    Main Responsibilities

    • Assist with day-to-day chartering activities including fixing group period charted vessels.
    • Negotiate spot cargo rates, terms and conditions.
    • Administer all CP's concluded.
    • To respond to enquiries and follow up.
    • Maintaining a database of vessel positions.
    • Preparing charter parties and other necessary fixture documentation, where required.
    • Support the team for all Chartering and Shipping-related matters.
    • Liaise with Shipbrokers and Cargo/Shipping Operators in vessel clearance.
    • Liaise with vessel(s) for smooth operations and voyage optimisation.
    • Ensure a good understanding of cargo/port requirements and organise the prerequisite clearance documents for efficient vessel clearance.
    • Ensure a good understanding of market practice and charter party terms for managing the cost exposures.
    • Maintain accurate record of Chartering/Shipping activities.
    • Responsible for the Fixture Notes preparation and circulation.
    • Responsible for the Chartering/Shipping e-filing system.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Marine Navigation /Maritime Studies.
    • Min 3 years of relevant working experience in oil trading industry/ or with Tanker Owners.
    • Excellent command of English language in order to communicate effectively.
    • Good understanding & knowledge of charter party terms and Product tanker operations.
