Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new and improve existing functionality.
  • Understand and improve if required whole process from requirements gathering to release production release.

General Skills

  • 7+ years hands on development, experienced developers with previous experience in the endtoend design, development and support of largescale data processing systems built on Oracle.
  • Java (essential),Scala, multiThreading is essential.
  • Any experience with technologies such as Kafka, ElasticSearch, Hadoop and Spark are a plus.
  • Experienced developers with previous experience in the endtoend design, development and support of largescale data processing systems built on Oracle.
  • Ability to work and liaise directly with the Front Office, Middle Office and various functions.
  • Familiarity and confidence working in an agile development environment.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps.
  • Selfstarter who can drive/facilitate requirements and development effort with the business.

Preferred Domain Knowledge

  • 7+ years hands on development.

Other Preferred Skills

  • Understanding of financial markets business front/middle/back office.

Role Specific Technical Competencies

  • Java (essential), multiThreading is essential.
  • Any experience with technologies such as Kafka, ElasticSearch, Hadoop and Spark are a plus.
  • Scripting programming in Linux shell, Python is a plus.
  • Development experience on functional language, such as Haskell and Scala, is a plus.
