- Lead and manage a team of Cashiers including performance management, training and development, succession planning and recruitment of new co-workers.
- Ensure operational excellence by efficiently resourcing the checkouts and maintaining a smooth and seamless customer flow to optimize customer satisfaction.
- Manage payment transactions and the cash office with a strong focus on reliability and safety to ensure secure handling of financial transactions.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and service recovery professionally and promptly
- Analyze customer and financial key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to create a safe and efficient working environment.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a fast-paced retail environment.
- Proven track record of leading teams and fostering team camaraderie.
- Customer-centric approach with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and deliver results under pressure.
