Our client is a global corporate advisory firm with a strong focus on the Asia market as well as presence across US and Europe across different sectors.

They are looking for a legal officer & company secretary to support the established team.

This is an exciting role offering increased involvement in contract and stakeholder management, as well as overseeing administrative support on the group and listing compliance matters.

Role & Responsibility

Providing legal and compliance support, including ensuring proper documentation procedure and control processes are observed in relation to KYC/AML cases
Reviewing standard contracts, drafting corporate resolutions for AGMs, banking or regulatory requirements
Ensuring compliance with all company secretariat statutory (including licenses) requirements of all entities (both local and overseas) such as filing of resolutions, filing of annual returns with ACRA, and working with overseas secretariat agents
Maintenance of various Corporate Secretarial databases and corporate filings
Ad hoc project and duties

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a corporate secretarial/paralegal/legal support capacity
Diploma in Law and Management from a recognized institution, LLB would be ideal
Wellversed in statutory and regulatory requirements in relation to SGX, advantageous to have familiarity in Japan and Hong Kong.
Chartered Secretary qualification would be ideal but not mandatory
Proficiency in a secondary language (Mandarin/Japanese) would be highly advantageous to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
