    Position: Service Engineer

    We are representing a leading provider of maritime instrumentation solutions, specializing in the installation, servicing, and repair of gauges and sensors onboard vessels, including tankers and LPG carriers. With a commitment to quality and reliability, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service to our clients in the maritime industry.

    Job Description:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Engineer to join our team. The Service Engineer will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and repair of gauges and sensors onboard vessels, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. The successful candidate will have a strong electrical background, experience in troubleshooting instruments and equipment, and the ability to work independently in challenging environments.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Install, service, and repair radar-type level gauges, air-purge type level gauges, and other company products onboard vessels.
    • Test, adjust, and troubleshoot instruments and equipment, utilizing technical knowledge and company resources to diagnose faults accurately.
    • Load and update software for instruments as required, ensuring compatibility and functionality.
    • Collaborate with senior engineers and work independently with limited supervision, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
    • Write detailed service reports documenting work performed, recommendations for spare parts replacement, and any technical issues encountered.
    • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, including entering tanks and harsh environments as necessary.
    • Willingness to work overtime and irregular hours to meet project deadlines and address technical issues promptly.

    Job Requirements:

    • Positive, can-do attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
    • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and instrumentation.
    • Physical fitness and willingness to work in challenging environments, including confined spaces.
    • Ability to address tough and difficult technical issues with resilience and determination.
    • Minimum Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related field.
    • PC literate with proficiency in software loading and updates.
