- Business Management: Spearhead the department's internal communication and engagement plan - assist in the planning, execution, and/or coordination of meetings, forums, and/or internal events. Responsible for regular and ad hoc senior management reporting and presentations. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business and operational performance and identify areas for improvement. Oversee smooth functioning of day-to-day administrative activities with support of the department Executive Assistant
- Governance: Support orchestration and delivery of governance mechanisms ensuring that appropriate decisions, forums and documentation are made to support running of department
- Portfolio Management: Support development and management of comprehensive business plans, including financial projections, budget, workforce and risk assessments, to support decision-making processes. Provide leadership in project management, monitoring progress across departmental portfolio and applying corrective actions
- Supporting strategy development, market analysis and strategic initiatives: Support to facilitate the creation of strategy and strategic plan. Support to conduct market research and analysis to identify potential new opportunities and industry trends. Collaborate with senior leadership to formulate and execute strategies aligned with the department's goals. Support with defining, implementing and monitoring of strategic initiatives from time to time
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Proven experience in strategy development, business management, and financial analysis. Preferred experience within a technology function of financial services firm
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights (proven ability to bring order to unstructured problems)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Project management experience, demonstrating the ability to lead cross-functional teams to successful project completion
- In-depth knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and regulatory framework
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software for strategic decision support
- High level of adaptability, creativity, and strategic thinking to navigate a dynamic business environment
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and JIRA

Director's Office
The Director's Office works closely with the Director of Technology Group and the leadership team in steering, advancing and overseeing the execution of our strategic plans, and also effective operational management of the business. This involves developing and operationalising strategies with short term to longer term perspectives, while embracing a strong change and risk mindset.
