    Roles & Responsibilities

    Company Description

Pokémon Center Singapore is the first Pokémon Center opened outside of Japan. The Singapore branch offers an array of Pokémon merchandise sold in Japan such as toys, stationeries, video games, trading card games and many more, as well as original merchandises that are exclusive to Singapore

    Responsibilities

    Operations and management

    • Assess gaps and opportunities within business operations, both in-store and online, through reports and stakeholder feedback, striving for continuous improvement.
    • Implement and enhance internal business processes to align with strategic organizational and branding goals in Singapore.
    • Manage business campaigns and analyse performance targets and reports for improvement.
    • Collaborate closely with the General Manager to optimize business operations across all channels, including the physical store, e-commerce platform, and events team.
    • Conduct regular reviews to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of implemented processes.

    New business development and implementation

    • Develop and execute new business ventures in accordance with directions from Headquarters (HQ).
    • Maintain close communication with headquarters to ideate and develop new business/product offerings that meet the demands of the Singapore market while aligning with organizational goals.
    • Conduct thorough reviews of regulatory restrictions and perform risk assessments and financial modelling for new business ventures.

    License Collaboration

    • Foster relationships with business partners, suppliers, and vendors to explore licensing and collaboration opportunities for the brand within the Singapore market.

    PR and Marketing, Event, SNS strategy, Design management

    • Devise and implement marketing strategies to promote both the physical store and e-commerce platform in Singapore, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and objectives.
    • Supervise the creation of social media and e-commerce design assets.
    • Providing guidance to designer to maintain branding consistency and compliance with regulations.
    • Lead the event team responsible for pop-up events, actively seeking out new opportunities with business partners.
    • Monitor team performance to ensure targets and goals are achieved across all areas of responsibility.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related / non-related field.
    • At least 4 years of relevant retail and e-commerce experience or business development.
    • High proficiency in Japanese and English to communicate effectively with Japan HQ and stakeholders.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify areas for improvement.
    • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills for engaging with business partners and stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
    • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and risk assessment processes related to new business ventures.
    • Experience in marketing strategy development and implementation, with a focus on social media and e-commerce platforms.
