    Description
    Responsible for the processing and transactions of payroll activities.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Upload and review payroll reports utilizing payroll and time and attendance system, and make corrections as required
    • Ensure the appropriate processing of bi-monthly payroll, deductions and other related adjustments in a timely, accurate manner in adherence to Employment Act, Inland Revenue Authority Singapore, Government Regulations and Human Resources Policies, including identifying and communicating improvements
    • Research and respond to routine employee payroll questions (e

    • Register finger prints for new hires
    • Serve as ESPP helpdesk by responding to in person questions
    • Verify employee data are entered correctly in the system

    Other incidental duties:
    Assist with training managers and new users on time and attendance system. Submit claims to Government Authorities in timely manner. Responsible in proper filing and archiving of data/documents. Register fingerprints for employees.


    Education and Experience:
    H.S. Diploma or equivalent 2 years experience Previous payroll processing related experience Required and
    Bachelor's Degree in Related field Preferred


    Additional Skills:

    • Good computer skills including MS Office Suite and payroll related systems
    • Good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills
    • Good problem-solving skills
    • General knowledge and understanding of payroll processing procedures and time and attendance system, preferably with some experience in payroll and time attendance software
    • General understanding of wage and hour and tax laws
    • Ability to complete tasks in resourceful and effective ways
    • Strict attention to detail
    • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
    • Contacts are typically with individuals within own and other departments and occasionally with contacts outside own organization
    • Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
