    Roles & Responsibilities

    MISSION

    The main mission of the Mandarin Teacher is to educate the young people entrusted to him/her, to contribute to their education and to provide them with training with a view to their social and professional integration.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Teaching Mandarin language to primary school students
    • Designing and implementing learning or teaching situations based on French programs and standards
    • Convey subject knowledge
    • Designing and implementing assessment methods of student's learnings, in liaison with other teachers or professional partners
    • Ensuring students acquire skills including capacities, attitudes and procedural knowledge
    • Leading the class and foster students' interest and participation
    • Providing personalized monitoring of students by working closely with their family and participate in their educational project
    • Contributing to teamwork
    • Contributing to the operation of the school and its growth (involvement in projects and events, etc...)
    • Adapting his/her teaching to the diversity of students by providing each of them with the necessary support, and measure their achievements
    • Using information and communication technologies to support learnings

    SKILLS,ABILITY AND REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

    • Recognized qualification in Teaching (Master's, PGCE, PGDE, CRPE)
    • Work experience in teaching in kindergarten and/or elementary level
    • Preferably with experience abroad or in international schools
    • Knowledge of French curriculum is a plus
    • Organizational and contact skills
    • Responsiveness and availability
    • Ability to adapt and benevolence
    • Very good writing and speaking skills
    • Strong ability to work in a team and to invest in projects
    • Mastery of digital tools
    • Ability to adapt to Francophone and non-Francophone students
    • Ability to provide instruction adapted to a wide variety of students
    • Ability to work in a transversal and multidisciplinary way
    • Proficiency in English and/or French (B2 level and above) is appreciated for supporting bilingue students and families

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    • Full time (27h/semaine) and Part-time positions
    • Remuneration will be based on company salary scale
    • Starting date: End of August 2023
